I'm a newbie here. I work as an economist for the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee (FOMC). I'm part of a group of folks who puts together the information that lets the FedR Board of Governors decide whether your (and mine) interest rates on credit cards, loans, etc. will go up or down.

I'm a casual cigar smoker, some 10 years now.

I'm a Application Support Analyst in Product Development for Ford Motor Co. in Dearborn, Mi. Will have my 40 years in on June 11. It been a wild ride and I've enjoyed the hell ou of my job until the last few months so you can color me gone at the end of this year.

It started out as a summer job until I started college in the fall. Well greed got the best of me and I figured I could do school fulltime and work fulltime. Ford even paid for the classes after i passed them. Anyway I got burned out after a couple years so I figured I go in the service. I thought it couldn't be any worse than my 18 hr days. WRONG!!! Spent 2 years in the Army then came back to Ford. Like I said its been a great Company to me and my family. Its just most if not all the people I work with were born after I started to work here so now I fell like an old fart
