I work at a bank with about a 15,000 other people and spend my days doing stupid bank stuff in a stupid little purple cubicle. Anybody want to switch?

Finally someone in my part of the country! I'm in Mtn. View. Let me know if you get into the Bay Area, we can have a smoke and complain about the tobacco taxes. LOL

My official title is a Techinal Training Specialist. The majority of my time is spent training people to become programmers/analysts (Java, VB6 & COBOL). I also spend time in Project Management and Business Analyst. Lately I've been spending time in e-business architecture and platforms.
Did I mention my first degree was in graphic arts, go figure!

RE: What Kind of Work You In?

I work in the electrical field, specifically athletic field lighting. Everything for horseshoe pits in public parks to professional sports stadiums. If you have a lit athletic field in your area, there's a chance that our company did it.
Oh and like seagar....my degree is in art, intaglio printmaking as an emphasis. Not a big call for intaglio printmakers though. LOL
Hey, I've never tried one of those before. ;-)

What do I do?
#1- I'm a Field Service Engineer for a Florida based IT Corp. servicing clients on usually on the West Coast but make my way back East regularly and sometimes overseas.

#2- I play cards. Texas Hold em and Omaha to be more specific. I used to play more but as time is short, I play whenever I get a chance to anymore.
