"Societal' cost of smoking
I saw this on a newsgroup and wanted to share. Much of the "reason" behind anti-smoking legislation says the "societal cost" of smoking is the reason behind said legislation. The cost of non-smokers to pay for the problems that smokers cause is said to put a hardship on the non-smokers. The following article seems to help debunk that myth:
