I just snorkeled milkshake out my nose

I've accidentally blown too much smoke out my nose before when snorkeling a cigar. It causes me to make some seriously funny faces and I lose my ability to keep my eyes open.

Today I was caused to laugh while imbibing milkshake, and blew some out my nose.

Let me amend that statement...

I ALMOST blew milkshake out my nose. The thick nature of the beverage caused it to become lodged in that passageway between the nose and throat, and some of it went (I think) up into the sinuses.

It was terrible. Much worse than too much smoke out the nose. I do not recommend it. You get enough enjoyment of the milkshake through just the mouth.

Did it help you ascertain otherwise hidden flavors of the beverage? Did you taste some new subtleties that were absent prior to this experience?
