I spoke with Darrell. It wasn't him. I've seen lots of threads closed, but you could still view them if you searched.

IMHO, deleting threads should be a last resort.

Closing a thread is quite common when they take a turn for the worse but I would only delete them if absolutely necessary.

Agreed.
