me, i'm glad to see that things have cooled off and it's mostly back to normal. yep, a lot of folks have moved on (including the mods who i thought did a fine job so i'm sad to see them go from here but glad that i can share another forum with them when i like - and i'm excited for the new mods who have already proven themselves by doing such a good job in the transition) but the spirit of CS is still here and there are still a lot of great BOTL/SOTL on here so I really don't see that so much has changed that i'm forced to type up a 'sorry guys, i'm cashing in my chips, see you on the flipside' threat and say goodbye to CS for good.

It seems like the wake has settled down a bit, which I like. There are still plenty of CSers here to make this place thrive and we're adding new gorillas every day so that's what counts. I have noticed that it seems a little quieter here lately, not sure if it's just my imagination though.

Yes CS has changed and will continue to change as with all things in life.

Hopefully CS stays the same. I believe it will. It may evolve into a tighter knit community if placed inside a larger cigar forum community "Puff". But I think that will bond "CSers" even closer to show how awesome this cigar community is. We will now bewcome a neighborhood (Club Stogie) within a city (Puff). I hope it is a great thing. Hopefully we will be able to go into the other neighborhoods and meet even more BOTL's and share in their experiences as well as being able to come home (CS).

Hopefully all things are good.

and of course it seems to me like the Sky isn't falling anymore.
although there were a few Gorillas who actually dinged my RG for complaining that everyone was running around complaining that everything is changing when nothing was changed...yet. So indeed it was the people running around yelling "The Sky is Falling, The Sky is Falling" that made CS start to change.

CS is the way it is because of it's members.
I believe it is the mebers that make up the way this community functions day to day no matter who owns the name/board.
