sick!

Being sick sucks soo bad. I work at a hospital and come in contact with very sick people all the time, but I take every precaution to not catch anything they may have. Recently they were giving employees free flu shots, but I opted not to take it since I have never had one and I have never had the flu. I think every cold is a form of the flu, but when I think of the flu I think of life threatening sickness.

3 days ago my throat was hurting. It hurt to swallow or anything. So I bought some nyquil to help get rid of that. Now It's all in my sinuses. Been taking nyquil, dayquil, mucinexD, and some tylenol cold/sinus. This is miserable. I had to leave work early today because I just didnt want to be sneezing, nose running, and sniffling all over patients all day. Plus I just felt like complete shit. Luckily, I have the next two days off work, so my fingers are crossed that I feel better by sunday...because I plan to see SAW V sunday night.

Get well soon! I just had to go to the doc last week because my throat started feeling raspy. Around the same time last year, that was the beginning of STREP! I'm glad I went early this time and knocked it out!

I got strep last year while I was working at BMW-Spartanburg. Their rules about absences caused everyone to come to work sick, and it was inevitable that you would catch something.
