I hate seeing stuff like this. Your word should be your bond. Hopefully things will be worked out and the problem was an oversite and not someone trying to cheat another member. I've bought from other members here and I'm happy to say I've only had one problem and that was from a vender that posts here and not another member. I haven't let it stop me making deals with other members, I just don't buy from that vender any more. Good luck and I hope things get worked out.

Kinda reminds me of when about a dozen of us botl's bought palio's off a botl here and many weeks went buy without any word from him, everyone was screaming and pleading with the mods. Hmmm........ Then finally he came through. Maybe they just need more time.

I feel bad for ya GoneDave,,,it's not typical to get "burned" here on the cigar sites. I have done quite a few trades with good people, have bombed plenty others and I always do it with the knowledge that if I get return fire,,,wonderful, if not, wonderful also. It isn't about trading or expecting anything as much as it's about your attitude going in. If you are trading something large then yes, you should have been compensated and knowing your counterparts well enough to know who they are should account for something. My friends on here I never have to worry about but some who I don't know that well I understand I need to get to know them before having expectations. my 2 cents

Hi Dave...

I asked twice through PMs to share the details with the moderation team so we could assist. This is a serious matter. If someone has initiated a trade or purchase and has taken something from you, it's our responsibility to protect you as well as other members here as best we can.

Like it was mentioned, someone that does not live up to their word is a personal burden whether it's posted on this forum or another. It happens everywhere.

If you care to pursue this issue, which I hope you do in order to protect other members, please do so in PMs. If not, at least leave a poor transaction through trader feedback so other members here have the opportunity to view that in the event they may trade with the member that has been questioned.

I as well as the other moderators will not act unfairly to any member when it comes to a trade or purchase. There's always 2 sides to a story.

I'm going to close this thread up for now. If you have more details to share, please send them through PM.
