I did not know of this puff.com move this was out of right feild.
I am a loyal CS member and always will but i come back from vacation not know what is going on with changes and kicks from the lottery which i am one of the few from the begining its kinda lame after being part of the lottery for over 2 years i get kicked for posting late.

There really should of been a global email informing members on what is going on.
So i guess all my CS memorabilia over the years will be collectors items.

Any i do not think i will be sticking around as puff.com dosn't feel like the CS home I am acustom to

Yeah, It looks like the site was kind of hi-jacked are we with the same cool members? I tried to get on last night it said they are updating I come in the Morning its all changed. So is Puff.com the same owner? If yes I wish him alot of luck. I have to say it looks like alot of work up thereon puff.com but its way to confuing coming from CS.

The main thing is don't let all those Bananas rot.

Best of luck hikari. To those of us who check in almost daily, this didn't come as any surprise and I, for one, was looking forward to checking out the shiny new Puff once I had heard the news back in October. There are some glitches Jon & the Mods are working on; it's expected that there will be some issues with the transfer. They're all working really hard to make sure all the issues are resolved quickly. Surely the new site will take a little getting used to and there are some obvious differences but I'm stickin' around.

Well assuming you don't have time to looking though each topic/thread to find that yes it is.
And i am sure i am not the only one that missed it.

When there was a date set there should of been a global email set out to let people know this.
CS stands for CLUB stoggie its a club it has MEMBERS not random people. a group of people brought together by a common enjoyment.

Also my deal has nothing to do with the web design or mods. it has to do wit it not being CS any more.
I don't know puff.com nor it's intent nor do i have the time currently to find out.
thats just me. I could of very well missed somthing but hey if its the same owners and member why change the name could of done an upgrade and keep it CS

I joined the CS not puff.
hence why i am bidding farewell.

Gotta agree with ya brother,,,I'm usually a naysayer but I knew it was coming and am now looking around to see what is new,,,what has changed etc etc. The hardest thing I had to do when I was a manager was to get people acclimated to new things when we changed over. It is difficult at best,,,people normally do not like or accept change easily so they tend to panic, get anxious or just plain do not accept it. I say give it a few weeks,,look around and get used to the concept and wait til they actually bring online the Stogie backroom,,,there will be bugs on this site for sure just like there are bugs in every new thing we buy or use. That is why they call it " working the bugs out" to make things better.

This change-over was handled extremely poorly. No formal announcement, no explanation. I tried commenting on the main page but it didn't take my comment--didn't tell me why it didn't or anything.

You can tell this was all rushed. For what reason? To make matter worse, the main page displays improperly in FireFox. Ugh.

For me its not about change i like change i am a Director of IT for one of the top internation photography agency i know change.

Its about this not being ClubStogie anymore period...

I'm also the one that started a cigar project for the iphone which i branded CS i have yet to get it out of testing due to time but more or less done.

I am also the one that started the CS club on linkedin.

Also part of the many CS branded items we have grouped bought and made.

Also Part of a few CS local herf's including my own Shoot and smoke herf out here in SoCal


Like i said not about change is change and new is new.

giving a new name to something makes it new.
change would of been keeping the name and updating or changing the site.


Puff.com is new not a changed version of CS

but then again who am I.
I am not part of Puff.com, just an old member of CS

I hear where what your saying it's kinda diffrent. But looking around on the Puff.com home page hey ya never know things might work out for the best. But as it lookes now the thread dosn't look like the main topic on the site. Maybe that can change.

And hey, I thoght change was suposed to start on the 20'th of Jan with our new president?
