So guys, what are your hobbies?

Hey guys, im still pretty new here and don't really know many of you too well. Since i havent seen one, I thought it may be fun to start a post where everyone call tell eachother a little about themselfes. Share things like your occupation, things your interested in, your hobbies, your familly... ANYTHING! This may be a good way of finding out some of us have way more in common than just smoking cigars.

I guess I'll start things off!

My name is Joe, I'm 27 and live in NJ with my wife Agnes, and 4 year old son Adam. I work for the LVMH group as a watchmaker for Tag Heuer. I have lots of hobbies and interests including cars, watches, and music (I play a bit). I'm also really into toy/model trains, as well as the full sized ones as well. Im a Rangers/Mets fan and besides all that i live for sunny days and cold Becks Beer!

Oh yeah, ive also found a new hobby recently.... SMOKING CIGARS! lol

I actually have a close friend who is a detective in the Sayreville PD and my fiance lives in East Brunswick so I am in your neck of the woods every weekend!! I reside in Bergen County, but I am looking to move down to Central NJ in the next few months to be closer to my fiance!! Welcome abaord brother!! Hopefully we can grab a stick sometime at Don Francisco's!!

I'm a very avid golfer, been playing for a year and down to an 11 handicap. I'm at the course practicing or playing at least part of the day 7 days a week!

I am interested in watches too (posted a pic of mine in the watch thread) and collected quite a few pieces before selling them off to fund a small collection of nicer watches.

I love mechanical stuff and have a couple of cars, a trackday motorcycle, and a couple of scooters that I have worked on extensively.

I do a very small amount of amateur photography - I was really into shooting photos over the winter but haven't been doing much lately. I do some digital and I have a 1952 Rolleiflex that takes phenomenal medium format shots.

I am a minor beer connoisseur, love trying microbrews from all over the country and world.

I am sure there are some hobbies I am forgetting, I seem to have a lot of them! I go through phases where I am very interested in learning everything I can about a certain subject.

Golf is the main one for me - It is something I can do every day and never get tired of.

Sounds good, we will definatly have to meet up at Don Francisco's sometime. Just take it easy on me, ive only got about 7-8 sticks smoked under my belt. But i have been there and tried a few of their sticks which are pretty good. I think they are having another even on the 20th of this month. As far as getting a Tag for cheap we will have to talk in person about that one. Can't disclose those sorts of things over the internet. Lol, you just never know whos watching.

I've made atempts to pick up golf in the past. Even bought a cheap set of clubs and everything. Its really fun even though i blow. Ive only been to the driving range, and unfortunatly always end up too busy to even get there. I dont feel like im even close to being able to play on an actual course.. wish i was though. Its a pretty tough sport. Seems like you have alot of hobbies. I like photography too, but another one that i just mess around with. But someone should start a "share your photography" thread as well! Beer is really good. I like trying diffrent kinds as well. Me and my friends made a home brew once but i wish i could get into it more seriously. Theres no many neat hobbies and things to do in the world its hard to find enough time for everything!

Not a guy, but my hobbies include bothering venomous snakes and crocodilians, tabletop RPG games, reading voraciously, weight lifting/working out, home roasting coffee and making healthy food look and taste good. I'm more of a cigar gal, my bf is more of a pipe guy, but we trade vices fairly regularly.

^^^ Home roasting coffee sounds interesting. Seems a little confussing to me, about asconfusing as cigars right now. My wife would probaly like it though, she has one of those tassimo machines that she uses now.

Whats up everyone! especially the fellow new jerseyans! im from middletown NJ, 27 years ol, just bought my first house with my gf of 7 years.. very excited about that...

onto hobbies.. I surf all year round, race motocross, offroading a little bit.. im also a Brazillian jiu jitsu blue belt, and have been training MMA for about 3 years.. getting ready to take my first fight soon...

Good thread I am 28 years old, live in south florida born and raised. As far as hobbies I like working on cars and taking them out to our local auto-x. I also play on a softball team year round thanks to our wonderful FL weather.

I am currently looking for a house with my wife, we got married last October. No kids yet but I'm sure there will be in the near future.
