Well by the title i suppose you can guess whats going on in my life so I was wondering Anybody got any tips to get out of this funk?

I just moved to North Carolina and was hopeing someone could tell me a place to hang out or something to do. And Any Advice On how to move past all of this would be great.

the only good news i can bring is i turn 21 on the 4th and i just bought some new smokes

to enjoy with my new found fun.

Divorce sucks no matter who you are or where you are. I've been through 2 and they both put me in that same "funk" you mentioned. The first was a child custody battle lasting about 2 years (which I lost) and the second, even though uncontested and I gave her everything, still sucked. The only advice I can offer is to not let life pass you by while you're waiting for the blues to end. Go and do whatever you've been wanting to do.... A road-trip, camping, foreign vacation, the sky's the limit. Before long that funk will wear off and you'll kick yourself for letting the time slip by. Hang in there and I wish you the best Bro, and will say that it does get easier to deal with every day.

Just take some time for your self and take it easy. Know that their is someone for everyone. Go to your best friends and let all that bad "funk" go.

That is a challenging change to deal with for sure. Hang in there bro!

I recomend an Ashton Heritage Churchill size paired with an ice cold Pacifico beer and a friendly card game with some nice guys. I recomend a cheap buy in ($5.00) no limit holdem tourney style where you get $10,000 in chips for your $5 buy in. Your second beer should be your favorite pale ale.

Maybe we can have a friendly video herf card game later on Puff!

Im getting a divorced at the end of this month. Its been a ten month ordeal, I know how you feel my friend.
I just try to enjoy each day and live it to the fullest.
Enjoy good food, booze ,cigars. Focus on what you enjoy doing: golf, sports, fishing, hunting.................
Have fun with your new found life, you got a fresh start and your young.

When I get in one of those bitter funks I just think of how lucky I' am without that horrible witch behind me all the time.

Trust me my friend,you ARE so much better off without a cold hearted witch harping over you all the time.

If your lonely go out and find some nice ladies to date, just dont get married.
I recently met a outstanding lady witrh no interest of ever getting married.
There are so many nice woman out there looking for a good guy its unbeleivable, so many sizes and shapes and colors. Woman that know how to treat a man. I recommend latino woman, simply amazing.
Keep your head up my friend, dont look back, forget about your past, look to the great life and times ahead of you.
You will get through this and come out smelling like a fine cigar.

I hope you were somewhat able to enjoy your 21st BD. That is one HUGE factor you have on your side, is that you are VERY young. the likelihood is that you have a long, productive, fun-filled life ahead of you (although you may not feel that way at the moment.

I also just had a birthday last Fri. July 3rd - my 56TH! I got married the first and only time in 1992 at 39 to a woman 10 years younger. Just went through the divorce thing last December (200

. I feel for ya. It is an absolute nightmare, but although I miss seeing my 3 kids everyday, I can't begin to tell you how elated I am to be out from under that bitch she-devil.

I was a stay-at-home dad while she pursued her big, super-woman corporate career working 70+ hours per week. I'm still unemployed with no income which makes things rough, but like the saying goes - "I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees."

I just finalized mine in September of '08, so I sure know how you feel, bro. Like Mike said, you're 21 - WOW!!! What a full life you've got ahead of you!!!

Divorce sucks and it train wrecks your life for a while, just don't forget that the wreckage will clear.
