Haven't been to a movie in quite a while, but my Wife and I are probably going to see the new release. She's a big fan and has read and reread all the books, several times over.

I have been dying to see Hurt Locker. Its about and EOD tech in Iraq but they have had very limited release so far hopefully they will release it to more theaters in the future.

By the way if you haven't gotten a chance to soo Gran Torino, again I great movie IMHO.

I love Harry Potter. Hard to believe its already been around for nearly half my life!

I love anything based on fantasy or mythology. I think the whole world of Harry Potter is every kids dream. Going to school in some distant place in a huge castle and living there with your friends. That and all the magic and other stuff.

The books got me into reading when I was in the 7th grade. Had to do book reports and I HATED reading. Found Harry Potter and it was pretty good.

The movies were great. Can't wait to see the new one!

If your a fan of the series and want to own them on DVD or BluRay, wait for all movies to come out. They will release a collectors box with all of them. Make sure its the extended editions though. Movie studies are tricky like that. I got friends who are Lord of the Rings Fanatics and they have bought and re-bought the dvd's 3x+. The release the standard version right after the movie comes out. Half a year to a year later they release the "extended edition". When all the movies are out you can buy them in a collectors pack. And then of course they release a collectors pack, extended edition. They are just coming out to BluRay now and they are pulling the same gimmicks. Its very annoying.

I've read all the books and seen all the movies except the current one. I'll see it in a week or 2. The books are really good, just some of them are long.

I am kind of a fan. My girlfriend more than me. But we did get midnight release tickets on Tuesday for the Half-Blood Prince and waited in line for over an hour outside. Good movie!

OK... I usually dread watching the potter. This is only because we own all of them and IMO they are overplayed, at least in my house. I will say that I think the story line is fantastic. and the cinematography is excellent. all of the movies are very good! Just saw the Half Blood Prince and it was no exception. Sort of long but it kept me interested.
