Ok im curious now. Ive noticed a few members that seem to be online an awfull lot lately. Most of them have been members for a very long time. They have no posts, no friends, no details, no messages notta zip zilch nuthin!!! They almost always seem to just be viewing the first page of the forums. Anybody else notice this?

Not everyone wants to join in the conversation. If they come occasionally to browse and learn from those who do post is that a bad thing? To each his own, my friend.

Koby, I think it is like Pugsley said, a lot of folks just come to check something out and are not really comfortable posting.

its just odd that when i check to see what they are viewing they are almost always viewing the main forum page

I never pay attention to who is online and what they are doing unless I am looking for somebody. I come on and start looking at threads and start posting. But hell now you got me thinking LOL. Next few times I just might check that out. Maybe its THE MAN ha ha ha

I almost always log on at work (like now) but don't then switch to another software program (work related) which means that it would show me looking at the main page when in actuality I am not "looking" at all. But I still have the page open for easy access when I don't feel like working/taking a break.

If others do this that could contribute to the amount of people that it says are on the main page. They have it open but are not on.
