Big Screens!!! Who's gott'em?

Wanted the monster 52 inch, but due to the overall size of the room and the layout I went with a 42 inch LG LCD with a nice surround sound setup!

Love the big LCD HDTV's. Football takes on a whole new dimension esp. when hooked up to the stereo system w/subwoofer,,,feels like I am in the stadium 50 yard line. I bought my Mitsubishi 2 years ago with the 52 inch screen and love it. I'd considered getting a bigger one but there is logic to getting the right size for the room you are watching it in and our great room is plenty big but I didn't want to move my head back and forth to watch a 65 or 73 inch TV. I have a friend who says he wished he would have gotten a smaller one because of this logic,,,,he is constantly shifting his eyes back and forth and moving his head as he watches TV.

46" Sony Bravia XBR with complete home theater, 6 speakers in the ceiling, 2 zone (can watch the game in one room, listen to music in the other). Wii and PS3 round it out.

I have 25" RCA and its not bad.......Im picking my battles carefully. She is into hot rods motorcycles and possibly cigars...........

65" Mitsibishi HDTV with Onkyo surround sound. Sports in a whole new dimension.

I got 3 of them. 2 plasmas and an lcd.

I've got the surround sound system in, wall mounted and concealed. Left a space for up to a 46" TV, 9' viewing distance.

Haven't decided what I'm going to hang on the wall yet. I watch a lot of sports, hockey in particular, and movies. Still deciding between Plasma and LCD so its a 32" tube TV til I pull the trigger.

Ahh, I had small TV all my life growing up so when I grew up, got married and got a house I bought a 42" Phillips LCD with a Philips 1000 Watt home theater system with a DVD Upconverter that makes DVDs display in 720P.

I also got a 32" Emerson LCD (only about $400) that is surprisingly nice and I love it. I also have the same Philips 1000 Watt home theater system with a DVD Upconverter for my bedroom.

This may not sound big for either room but one thing to consider is the fact my house is only 725 square feet lol. It is too small now for my wife and I, our two kids (soon to be three Oct 8th) and 5 cats!!!! We wanted a bigger house but couldn't afford it during the housing boom when prices were through the roof!!

Ditto on having the Vizio. Looking at getting another one since wifey is tired of fighting between gaming (me) and spongebob (kids). Looking at a 37 inch for our spare room.

Got a 61 inch Sammy LED DLP Rear projection in my family room. I ti sweet. i had the room for a rear projection and I get better picture than most of the other sammy LCDS I saw when i bought it and for way less $$$$$.

If you have a nice surround system it makes sports and movies unreal

Every man needs his big screens! I have a 50" Sony LCD and a 42" LG LCD.
