As a regular ex-jake on the line, I can tell you its really unsettling when working a trash fire, and the haz-mat team shows up dressed to the nines. Granted, it was a BIG trash fire, but maybe I shouldn't been out there with only a jumpsuit. Oh well, another few years off the lifespan. And since I'm now a blue canary, I'm pretty much helpless. Maybe I can make a PAPR out of a pocket fan and an ERG.
Thanks everyone for the good luck wishes, this was just the motivation I needed to start the day off right! Time to shower up and kick some a$$ in the interview. Don't know when I will find out the results but will definately keep you posted. Again a big heartfelt thank you!
So the interview went pretty good, I stumbled a little on one question but felt like I had good answers for everything. I presented a resume and a copy of my career plan that I used to help me get hired. The Chief remembered our interview and that I had clearly stated previously that I wanted to join the team so I think that helped out a lot since no one else had either of those. Hope to find out this week!
