An EXCELLENT place to sit and smoke a cigar. Matter of fact, the ONLY PLACE left in Charleston to smoke a cigar after a recent 'no smoking' ban in the city.

Full bar, B & M as you come through the front doors, service, amazingly clean air... A must-see for BOTL's

Glad to hear that the smoke Nazi's haven't shut this place down. I just found out about it a few weeks ago and am going to visit soon!

It was the only establishment in Charleston that is allowed to have smoking in it after the ban. It is a nice place for a cigar and a glass of port. Believe me.

Very friendly people in the B&M downstairs that'll help and offer advice if asked. Great selection of cigars and pipe tobacco too. There's a lounge with nice comfy chairs in the back of the shop when the bar and lounge upstairs is closed during the day, but no bar downstairs. The upstairs has some great looking girls serving drinks (admit it, it's a plus), even more comfortable chairs, good drinks, clean air, and you can usually find some friendly company too.

You can actually still smoke cigars at the Smoking Lamp, on King Street across from Marion Square. Under the ordinance, they are considered a "cigar lounge" rather than a "cigar bar," because they only sell beer and wine (not liquor).
