It is crazy how much heat Vick takes while wife-beaters and murderers get pushed aside(see Jason Taylor the basketball player). I'm not saying Vick doesn't deserve the heat, but the other guys deserve AT LEAST as much.

I think a lot of the differences between this case and other athlete cases is that this is a federal case. Much higher rate of conviction in federal courts than in local and state courts.

You might be right. Imagine if the VA DA decides to pursue state charges. That could tack on some serious time.

I would be shocked to see him get more than 18 months although he deserves way more than that.

The Feds should pull the plea agreement before Monday. According to ESPN Vick won't admit to killing dogs or gambling. Take him to trial and give him the maximum if he's guilty!
