The long NHL Summer

This is a historically dead time for the NHL - the time between the draft and the start of training camps.

This year however, most every team is rolling out a new "jersey" (Reebok's word for a hockey sweater) during this down time.

What does every one think of their favorite teams design? The Pens new sweater hits the stores on the 5th, and if it looks like the hideous thing I saw on the web, I'll be disappointed.

I actually like what some of the Canadian teams have done, especially Ottawa and Vancouver.

wow i hadnt really seen any of the drawling for the new "igloo" that looks amazing. and as far as new sweaters that are pretty sweet i like that the caps are going back to the classic caps jerseys.

Not a fan of most of the ones they have posted so far. Hoping the Blackhawks don't mess with tradition any further.

I like the more classic ones too. But I hate all of the ones that have stripes under the arms.

The ones that they showed are all pretty good I guess. There really is no drastic differences...well there are a ton yet to be released so who knows. I just hope for a successful season for the league overall as hockey really needs it right now.

You are a lucky man with the Pens being you're team. My GOD is that team loaded with talent. I can easily see that team being the next dynasty.

The Bruins jerseys look like a return to tradition. Wish that there would be a return to winning.

i heard the pens jerseys arent really changing too much. wonder if anyone else is gonna do something totally drastic. i wish they would make a thrid jersey for the pens that looks like the old powder blue ones. just my hopes. any word on the seating copasity of the new arena in the burgh?
