Classy move by USC

While I'm not a USC fan at all, this move was pretty classy. I have to admit though, I wonder if they had done something like that while playing a better team?

Given that it was a P.A.T., most likely they would have.

So, they honored his memory by getting a penalty.

It's got a lot more meaning than simply getting a penalty. It had nothing to do at all with the penalty, and more to do with the absent kicker, someone they shared the field of battle with. Call it dumb (not saying you did) if you want, but there are ways people honor the dead in everyday life as well that some would consider dumb. The only thing that matters was the team wanted to do it to honor his memory, and it held special meaning for them. It was more about their healing rather than making a statement to anyone else.

Truly a classy move on their part honoring the memory of a brother in such a way. Hats off to the fans for realizing what was happening. You gotta respect that.

Hadn't heard about this, I also don't care for USC very much, but that was a very cool thing to do for a former teammate.

Great teammates, friends and brothers. I can only hope that if I were to die tragically I would have made enough impact on others to receive such an honor.
