Freaking Excellent. The only thing I have a problem with is that the guy who caught it had to sell it because he couldn't afford the taxes on it. That seems like to me. Wouldn't the ball only be worth what any other ball was until it was time to sell it? Damn IRS always out for thier cut.

I think it's awesome. I voted for branding it over and over. I probably voted at least 100x. I also think it's rediculous that the guy who caught it couldn't afford to keep it because of taxes. Thats a complete joke....Anyways my favorite line from an ESPN online article is this.... "Hall of Fame officials and Ecko are discussing how to affix the asterisk on the ball. It's not yet known when the ball will go on display." I think it's funny that a part of MLB is actually discussing how a peice of history should basically be ruined. Another thing to think about is they say....."how to affix the asterisk"....I thought this was already determined? It's supposed to be BRANDED!
