weisbrod wasn't the gm that made the decisions that tmac didn't like anyway
it was gabriel and he was fired midway through the season.

Now doggone it this isn't the way the internet's supposed to work. I'm supposed to be able to change your opinion. Isn't that the way it works?

Good friendly exchange of opinions but no change of opinions, that's the internet I know and love. Go Rockheads!

If you want to disuss horrid management, look no further than DC. We had Sheed, Big Ben, Cwebb, Rip Hamilton, the list goes on. We drafted Kwame as our #1. Now we have a solid team (great guard play, poor/avg post play) and can't get a L from a Bulls team that's missing 2 of their top 4 offensive players. It's frustrating living in DC w/ the Wizards and the Skins...

I don't know if I'd go that far - at least we put an exciting product out there, but we are getting stomped by backups on the Bulls...

hey you made the playoffs that's pretty good from where I'm standing
now you need a coach who can get your point guard to distribute instead of chucking shots.
(that's our problem too )
plus chicago plays great D.
d beats o all the time. it's like paper rock scissors lol

Re: Houston Rockets vs Dallas Mavericks (Series Winner)

I'm a Houston fan, always will be since I've lived here all 23 year of my life. I have to agree with Litehedded however because T-Mac did appear to give up on the Magic and was quoted saying he did not want to wait around to build a championship caliber team. There's a reason Orlando hates him despite all the thrills he provided as scoring leader. I was very skeptical about him coming to Houston because his lackluster defense but he has shown he is really a superstar here in Houston. We can't help but embrace him for that, but I would be pissed if I were Orlando fans as well.

It's hard to know who's right because Weisbrod and T-Mac both hate one another but I'm sure Tracy was no picnic either. Averaging 30+ points a game for your team and coming out with the worst record is surely discouraging and the last person you want to blame is yourself... so look to the GM.

By the way, I take the Rockets to win the series 4-2. Happy smoking.

Wow. What a clusterbomb by the Rockets. Why is Van Gundy giving up on Sura? James is a nice player and all but Sura can penetrate and play a little more team ball. Seems like James is playing for James. Just darn.

This is why I don't gamble on sports with real money. Whose playing these games, the players or the refs?

Re: Houston Rockets vs Dallas Mavericks (Series Winner)

Weisbrod resigning? Tracy McGrady may have dogged down at Orlando but this "resignation" should settle once and for all the question fo who runs this league. The players run the league. If a GM gets blackballed by one influential player, the franchise is doomed. With the free agency and player movement what it is today, successful marketing of franchises to players is the key to building a great team.
