Re: LSU/UK

You need a touchdown to win. You are at the 25. Why in the world do you call 4 straight runs. Especially when your starting HB is hurt and on the sideline. LSU's coaching staff should be shot for that.

Re: LSU/UK

TERRIBLE officiating.

The go-ahead TD in 3OT was a BLATANT offensive pass interference. He pushed off of the LSU defender's helmet (which incidentally brought him to his knees at the goal line) giving himself the advantage to catch the pass.

LSU played like crap, for whatever reason you give them, but the officials really failed in that game.

Let us not overlook the non-existant pass interference call against kentucky that led to a LSU touchdown. Without that there may have not been a need for OT.

Re: LSU/UK

Wow. Was watching this game until about middle of the 3rd quater. Went out for lunch break to have a nice stick. I thought LSU had it in the bag. I am sad I missed the end of this.

No argument. Like I said, piss poor officiating all around.

Honestly, that game should have been closer to a 24/17 one-or-the-otherin regulation play, not a 37/43 3OT game.

Pushed off? He grabbed him by the jersey and pulled him down! Of course the referee figured he couldn't call defensive pass interference so it wasn't a penalty.

That play aside, Kentucky did outplay LSU and earned the win.

Re: LSU/UK

It just goes to show that on any given Saturday in the SEC anything can happen!! Pending the outcome of Auburn v. Arkansas next week could make for some very interesting football. Also who would have ever thought that USF would ever have a shot at being #1?!?!?!?!?

I agree. The officiating was lacking but there is no denying that Kentucky played a hell of a game. I am sure that LSU will rebound nicely next game.
