Yep, I've always admired Shanahan's grit and determination.

The good news is that I lived long enough to see the Rangers raise the cup on June 14, 1994. It was a long wait but it was sweet. Be nice to see it again during this lifetime. ;-)

Some good games last night. Just wish I didn't have to work tonight as I would love to catch the Dallas vs Columbus game as well as the NJ vs Pit game. Damn.

The Calgary/Colorado game last night was a real fun one to watch. The Flyers Thrashers game was just hard to watch LOL

Did anyone watch Philly vs. Nashville? Good first period, but man did Nashville get beat in the 2nd and 3rd. It's gotta be tough starting out with so many losses and they are just digging themselves deeper.

the winner (whoever has the most wins, ties do not factor) gets a 5er of premium, but not anything ridiculous smokes, in the case of a tie, no reward will be given.

Cautious optimism in Boston where the Bruins have gotten off to a 3-2 start where most of those games were played out west. There is hope that they will make the playoffs this year for a change.
