And its been a long time since we had consecutive shutouts.

I didn't see the whole game, but it sounded like they were moderately outplayed, outshot 38-18 for the game and 15-2 in the first period!

Winning when you don't play your best is a great sign for this team, last year they seemed to need their best game to even have a chance.

GO BLUES! 4-1
Looks like they're finally making some forward strides to get back to their winning tradition.

It was a fun game to watch (if you're a wings fan hehe)

It is a very good line, very precise. I miss the Russian 5 however.

They were just BRUTAL!

Rough game for the Blackhawks the other night. Thought for sure they were going to take the Blues.

Can't wait to watch them smash the Avs against the glass tonight

Yes, which is why I said it looks like they're finally making strides as in getting better, but they look pretty good and have a pretty much reworked roster and a great new owner. Have you seen them play yet?

Yes, I saw them spank the Hawks the other night!

I think the Hawks show a lot of promise too, but I have learned to wait until later in the season before saying it publically.

DOH!!!

In all seriousness though I think the Hawks will have a good year. I'm still on the fence about the Blues even after their win on Wednesday night. I'm just not sure if Murray can lead them to victory this season.

Re: NHL Season 07/08

^^He seems to be doing okay and the new ownership has had a huge impact on the program. There's a good mix of great young players and some older experienced guys too, although Eric Johnson broke his foot, but he'll be back soon hopefully

Well, I wish them luck...except when they play the Hawks.
