Go Minnesota North Stars!!! Oh yeah, we lost that team. Go Wild. I really haven't followed pro hockey the last few years. I like the game, but it's not televised on stations I get. But, this is Minnesota, and college hockey is started, and high school is around the corner. All time favorite team is Detroit though. Go Wings.

The Wild have one of the most exciting players in the NHL in Marion Gaborik. You oughta watch them, good team and a great player.

Yes! Gaborik is one of my favorite players. He's amazing and young.

Yay Minnesota!!! Kick Colorado's ass!!! YEAH!!!

Good to see the Avs get it handed to 'em

Detroit tied for 2nd in the league with the Wild, that's a good start I'd say.

Hawks tied for third in the conference, right behind Minny and the Wings...Great start!

Minny and the Wings....sounds like a good name for a band.

Yeah a band with no teeth HAHA

I'm actually quite impessed with Chicago's level of play so far this season. Just a really exciting team to watch. Any team that gives mine a run for their money twice in a row like that deserves major props in my book. Impressive 3rd period in Saturday's game... makes me miss Lang LOL

Man, direcTV sucks. Why is it I cannot even get my LOCAL team events televised? I guess I am going to bite the bullet and get center ice for $160.

Lang gets a lot more ice time with the Hawks...just too much talent last year in Detroit to get him as much. So far I really like having him on the Hawks. Great seeing my two favorite teams 2 and 3 in the Conference, Dustin.

Well worth it, you won't regret it.

Yeah I'm enjoying the start of the season. It was also nice to see the wings just spank the local coyotes the other night. Wish I could have been there in person to witness that but I'll get another shot in December

I LOVE the center ice package. Got in on it when the price was lower before the season started and that's always nice as well. Wish I was home more often but at least I can watch all the games I want when I am home. Plus my wife digs it too

Re: NHL Season 07/08

I don't have DirectTV or Dish Network, only cable TV. My cable provider doesn't carry center ice. I used to love watching on ESPN, but then the league went to a different network (which I don't get). Maybe I will have to break down and get rid of the cable and go DirectTV.

I'm so much happier than I was with Cable. Seriously I love my DirecTV. I have so many High-Def channels now and its just awesome. In the past I've had DishNetwork and was a Cable fan for a few years.

Never going back now that I know what DirecTV brings

Re: NHL Season 07/08

The Carolina Hurricanes played a great game tonight against a scrappy Vancouver Canucks team. Luongo for the Canucks was stingy as usual... but the boys in red deposited two in the basket against him - plus an empty netter.
A 3 to 1 win at home in front of an appreciative crowd. Good times!
