So did anyone see the Toews goal yet? I was lucky enough to be at the UC when he scored it and I think I will probably never forget it. I could not believe it.

Toews looks like he is going to be an amazing player. A point in every NHL game he has played in so far. He and Kane look like the real deal.

The Hawks defense was pretty suspect Tuesday, and I know Boston is coming off a turd of a game too...guess we shall see who wants to redeem themselves more.

Regardless of the outcome, watch Toews and Kane...best rookie tandem I can remember since Selanne and Zhamnov.

Dominating performance. Osgood looks excellent in Hasek'd relief during his hip injury, though the Sharks only mustered 11 shots tonight. Holmstrom is outta control, the line with he, Datsyuk and Zetterberg is one of the league's best. They are almost as good as Kane, Toews and Ruutu.

Speaking of my beloved Wings' goaltending, how long are they going to keep paying for "proven talent?" Sure Hasek and Osgood make a formidable one-two punch in the net, but they're both getting pretty old. What happens if they both leave at once - either to retirement or free agency? I haven't heard anything about Jimmy Howard (their 3rd string) or any high quality up-and-comers, so right now I'm just hoping that Ken Holland has a better idea than wait and see who he can buy at the last minute.

Is Randy Jones of the Flyers considered to be a dirty player? He just got a major and a game misconduct for a cheap shot from behind on Patrice Bergeron. Bergeron was taken off the ice on a stretcher, no update on his condition yet.

Exciting games tonight, wish I would have been able to stay home and finish the Detroit/Vancouver game. Damn, a real nail biter.

Impressive win for Edmonton tonight. Good playing by Garon, gotta say I was impressed

I got to talk to Hudler and Meech the other day. They were in my store buying some clothes. Hudler was making fun of Meech, telling him he had a fat ass and couldn't fit into a pair of jeans he was trying on.
