Anyone on here NBA fans? Catch any of the opening night games?

Sorta an Orlando Magic fan by default. Growing up in the New York area, then moving to Florida was a bit of a culture shock when NASCAR and college football are king and families are divided over Gators vs Seminoles.

As far as the Magic are concerned, they should do ok this year with a big chunk of money and a bum ankle let go named Grant Hill and Dwight Howard getting some help.

Unfortunately, I am a Knicks fan. I can't even discuss them anymore without getting really mad, so I'll move on...

That being said, I am always psyched for a new NBA season. Am really excited to watch Kevin Durant's debut tonight. I am equally disappointed Greg Oden will miss the season. Was looking forward to watching those two in their rookie seasons.

I think San Antonio will come out of the west and Boston will come out of the East (going out on a limb here, I know

)

Sixers think they will be good - everyone says they will suck. I don't see where they imprived the team much beyond .500

76ers last night.
They lost but it was exciting to see them again and get into the Basketball season.

As for the '6ers. They are a young team. "rebuilt"
the average age on the team is 25.7 with a few guys not having played in the NBA that long.
(I don't believe Kyle Korver nor Andre Iguodala are veterans to the game yet).
We shall come together and overcome....BWUAHAHAHA

With "The Franchise" back in Houston the Rockets will be a force to be reconed with.

My wife is a devout Spurs fans which is difficult to understand because she's from Dallas and hate the Mavericks.

Well I like her a whole lot already lol I hate the Mavs to,thinks its just the persona they carry. I like houston too,and will cheer for them,until that is they play the spurs

Anyone think the Celtics are gonna be raw this year? Garnet,peirce,and jesus,plus they seem to be meshing well,no egos in the way.

Ego is my concern with the Rockets. McGrady and Francis on the same court may prove too much.

I think he is going to tone down,he wants to win and stay put somewhere. I think his knee is still bum though,he didnt get much PT pre-season. Be fun to watch though.
