I constantly wonder how much better LSU would be doing if they didn't constantly have 2-3 key people out for injury.


LSU's play book doesn't seem to change much right now, and I suspect that's hurting them. They still rely on a fast moving, quick thinking QB to make snap decisions on the field, and a hand-off to Soandso for a run up the middle. But with key running backs out, or the option QB suspended for a game, and receivers who drop passes, they're struggling to put a solid offense into play. Hence the unusual plays and the 4th and X attempts.


I know LSU is 3 or 4 deep in almost every area, but they need to reign in the penalty yardage or they're going to get themselves too deep in.


Hell of a game though.
