I can imagine some yelling into the QBs head. Watch your blind side, sack coming, or receiver route 4 is wide open.

You can also call me silly but I don't know why they are weraing the C?
it's monitored, and they turn off the commo based on the play clock (not the game clock). if i remember, the commo is turned off when the play clock hits 15 seconds (they get 45 seconds between plays - when the ref winds his arms to start the play clock).

the "C" is to designate a team "Captain", just like in hockey with the big "C".

do you know why the one star is filled in out of four?
did some quick searches and my only guess was another star would be filled in next year if they're still a captain?
but then why 4 stars (arbitrary)

well, don't they KNOW who has a radio...it's like every QB in the league.

I think the kicker should have one in his helmet so the coach can constantly remind him that he better not miss it right before the snap!

40 seconds if the runner stays in bounds, starts when the runner is down. 25 seconds if the clock stops, like incomplete passes, starts on the ref winds. The communication has to be shutoff before the play starts, usually once the play is called, I don't believe there is a limit.
