I'm shocked! I thought PM would have it together after last weeks game.

Re: How About Them Colts
People will try to blame that one on Adam but IMO this one falls squarely on the shoulders of Peyton. He just had a horrible game. Granted they still had a chance to pull that one out but honestly they did not deserve to win that game.
I think the Colts fans should all get together and demand Peyton be traded to the Vikings. That will teach us Viking fans to shut up! |

Re: How About Them Colts
Right now I am more worried about the Steelers. On a more positive note, I would like to congratulate Peyton Manning for setting two Colts records last night; most interceptions in a game (6) and most career touchdown passes as a Colt, passing Johnny Unitas for that record. I guess that those two records on the same night are like the good news/bad news jokes.

I think there are some comparisons between Pittsburgh and the Colts in the matter of preparation. I believe neither team was prepared for their games this weekend. For Pittsburgh, it seemed to be the inability to settle down in the pocket and get up a solid passing game in the first half. The Colts seemed to suffer from the injuries on the OL, and also tended to underestimate River's passing game on the defensive end. Both of these games should be serious wakeup calls for both teams. ![]() ATL

Re: How About Them Colts
They should have won that game.
In watching the final drive for the Colts I felt as if they were playing to get a field goal instead of a touchdown. It baffled me that they would do that because of the condition of the field and how a kicker could slip just a little in that mud and make the kick go wide left, or right in this case.

Re: How About Them Colts
I am not buying the injury excuse. When the Pats discussed injuries after the AFCCG last year, they were whining but it seems that this is an excuse for Saint Tony and the heroically undermanned Colts. BS, you play with what you have.

Re: How About Them Colts
Vic, between our two teams, isn't it always about stirring the pot. In good fun of course. BTW, congrats on the new job.

Re: How About Them Colts
i indiffrent, and you cant blame injuries cuz thats part of football! how do not expect to not get hurt with these 6'2" 225lbs guys who are nowadays able to run 4.4s?
the way i saw the game is... chargers played aweful! and im a charger fan! we did not control any part of the field offenseively! ZERO! Manning is gonna put up the numbers no matter what, he is a stat machine! Our defense won the game. Virtually all the points were scored my special teams! San Diego didnt win, colts lost... ![]() but on paper... a win is a win, a loss is a loss, and no matter how ugly it was we got the "W"

Re: How About Them Colts
Rather harsh weather conditions for a team from SD and a dome team. I could not believe the SD error near their goal line that let the Colts back into the game.

Re: How About Them Colts
Crazy game. Peyton is a great QB, but this has got to be the worst game I've seen him play. Rivers is having a horrible season and the Bolts offense is just not playing well. Pass defense was weak, the Colts O pretty much pushed us around for most of the game, especially the second half, and even with his worst ever game, PM still passed for 328 yards. If not for the interceptions, it would have been a blowout. Special teams and run defense were the only real bright spots for us. The Chargers have so much talent, but we just can't seem to get it together this season.

Re: How About Them Colts
Vic, just so you know that there is no hostility from this end because sometimes I forget rationality and go too hard core. My God, I have a PhD and act like the Pats are my life (they are) but no hostility is intended. Joking is fine but I go too far. Sorry that Peyton threw more interceptions in two weeks than Brady has thrown in a season. J/K. Paul Should give up drinking at these Veterans Day things. Hopefully you will have Harrison back for the playoffs. I think that the true test for our division will be Colts/Pats this time in Foxboro in Jan but Harrison as is Moss are freaks of nature and like our Quarterbacks can change a game with one throw. Best of luck for the rest of your season. Paul
