Hockey, World Juniors
The best junior hockey players in the world will be starting their tournament in Prague on Boxing Day. If you get an opportunity to watch it is fantastic hockey. The Canadians are defending their gold medal. It's neat to see future NHL ers playing for their country. Canada has John Tavares who is eligible for the draft in 09 (I think). Keep an eye on him.

Canada won there 2nd game yesterday, another shutout. It was the 20th win in a row for Canada, a string that goes back to the championship game loss in 2004.

We were on the way to Owen' s game and it went to overtime. Some of the dads went to a local watering hole by the rink to catch the end. I didn't go with them but someone was listening in their car in the parking lot. I at least caught the goal on the radio.
