Welcome to the HOF, Goose!
Richard "Goose" Gossage was finally voted into the Baseball Hall of Fame today, about 10 years too late, imo. 75% of the vote is needed and he got 85%. He was the only person voted in the 2008 class. Jim Rice missed again.

As a Red Sox fan, I hated the Goose but congratulations, the award is long over due. I do agree that Rice should be in there and there is a player that I would love to see the Old Timers Committee elect, Luis Tiant.
