yeah, what was all the hype about with the vikings this year?? they lose their BEST player, their starting running back is suspended for drugs, and now they are going to get better??? Culpepper blows, and the ONLY reason Burleson got any stats last year is b/c of moss...

I don't like Vikings, but they have talent and they will swing things around. Burleson is a talented guy with or without Moss, he'll get the job done as soon as Culpepper remembers how to pass the ball. Tice also needs to quit playing around and just put Moore in the backfield and production will start.

Re: Club Stogie Fantasy Football (JDO's league)

So since we are talking about poor performances, lets talk the Bills.

I had high hopes for the game this week and it turned out very wrong. JP looked like what he is, an inexperienced, young player. I can't count how many times he overthrew the ball. He lost his composure on the safety and stepped out of bounds. McGahee had nothing for the Bucs defense.

I saw the Bills team that I was afraid to see, the one that is out played and out muscled from beginning to end. Its going to be an interesting season to say the least.

I have faith though that JP will improve and that the defense will be the driving force of the team.

Re: Club Stogie Fantasy Football (JDO's league)

In case anyone was wondering about the Power rankings, I found this in the NFL help system..

What are the Power Rankings which are available from the Standings page?

The Power ranking of a team is based on the team's standing in three categories:

1 )Win/Loss Record
2) Total Points
3) Breakdown

The Breakdown category calculates how your team would have done had it played all the other teams each week of the season.

Within these categories, "power" points are awarded Rotisserie-style. For example, if there are 12 teams in your league, the team with the best Win/Loss record would receive 12 points for that category, the team with the next best record would receive 11 points, and so on, with the team with the worst record receiving 1 point. The same ranking system is applied for Total Points and for Breakdown. The scores for each category are then totaled to create the overall Power ranking.

To see the power rankings for a previous week, select a week number above the report.

You can also print or e-mail the standings, or save them to an Excel spreadsheet, by clicking the appropriate icon in the top right corner of the page.

Well in that case, we should be comfortably in last place..

Its been quite the team effort for the Vikes, the coach sucked, Dante sucked, the defense leaks like a siv, so the defense sux... Other than that they're just fine..

Burleson better not stay injured, or else I will have officially made the worst trade ever...
