Duck calls, eqptmnt. ect..
Some of you know I went on my first duckhunt last weekend with Toddzilla... Had an excelent time.... We couldn't really get the damn ducks to land but we probably saw 1500 of them (count estimated by Todd's cousin, he's the man). 1 black duck bit the dust.
I am going to be getting into it next season so I have until then to get my gear... and I need just about everything. My question: I want to get all the calls...and practice... I dont want to spend $100 on a single duck call.... Which calls are inexpensive yet good? MY favorite brand calls for deer "Lohman" also make duck calls for like $10.??? Also I am willing to trade Premium....Fine.....old.....nummy, cigars for equiptment: Duck Blind Waders Duck calls Duck decoys Let me know via PM ... Did not put in WTT because I really just want to know about calls.... the trade offer is an aside. |

If you have a Cabelas around you, I would touch base with them. They will give you the straight scoop on your call questions. I hunt but we are on the Atlantic flyway and really don't need to call ducks or geese, just have to pick the right pond or bay.

You can find alot of calls in the 20-30 dollar range. Try to buy a call that comes with a CD, thats most likely your best bet.

www.foilesstraitmeat.com ... Foiles is the top guy in the market for calls (I personally think) he makes some poly calls if you don't want to spend the big money on an acrylic. I've got most every call he makes and am very happy with every single one.
