I don't think Manning should have been MVP.

Re: Superbowl XLII (Reaction Thread)

That was one of the best defensive line performances that I've ever seen. That line deserves the MVP, but Eli played pretty well too. The Giants' secondary kicked ass on Randy "straight cash homey" Moss as well. Great game by the New York Giants!

Worst Superbowl I've ever watched hands down. Neither team played well at all.

Undefeated means nothing unless they can win the big one!! Eli is MVP...not so much! I'm a fan of neither, but it was exciting. I wanted the Giants to win because the Pats would have set a record that no team could ever beat, only tie.

I think Pats fans are horrible, so I'm not upset that they lost.

I totally agree that it should have been the whole defense.

I dunno. He did lead his team down the field for the winning drive. He threw for both of the Giants TDs. It's pretty hard to not give the QB the MVP when he throws both TDs and has the game winning drive.

Re: Superbowl XLII (Reaction Thread)

Is it sacrilege to celebrate a Giants victory with a SA Boston Lager?

On second thought I don't care... WAY TO GO Giants!!

Re: Superbowl XLII (Reaction Thread)

I love what Strahan said about all the experts saying the Giants got a false sense of confidence keeping it close the first game.

Enjoy the victory Giants and have a nice rest of the winter New England. I'm so glad their fans got this punch in the gut.

That's a rather broad statement that all Pats fans are horrible isn't it?

Why, the Colts could not even beat the Chargers....They still stink

Dumb call by B.B.l going for it on 4th & 15 instead of trying the field goal. May have cost them the game.

Great game for the Giants. I like Tom Coughlin ever since he was coaching at BC. Glad to see him win, especially after he almost got fired.
