As a non Pro Football fan I found myself pulling for both teams. Congrats to the NY Giants and thier fans!!
(BTW is it a bad thing that I'm happy that the past two QBs to win the Super Bowl were from the SEC?!?!?!)

Yes, you're right. He has a good arm, but he does not catch these balls and run them x amount of yards and score the points. While he deserves his props, it's the guys who run them across the line that deserve the credit. Just my .

Yeah I don't think any of the Giants are complaining that Manning got it. Great game.

Congrats to Tom Coughlin and Eli manning for all the shit they've endured over the years from the media.

I think Pats fans are horrible, so I'm not upset that they lost.
why is that? because we were proud of being better than whoever you like?

Haven't seen this from Drifty in a while so...

to the Giants! Only way I would have been happier is if the Pack would have beaten them.

Re: Superbowl XLII (Reaction Thread)

I will NOT say anything bad about the Pats. 18-1 will ALWAYS be a great season.

I've been a Giants fan since I could watch the game and will always be a Giants Fan. It's been a long time, and Now we Won!!!!!!!!!

Using that logic no quarterback should ever be MVP. I think Eli deserved it if just for his play on the game winning drive. Especially when he escaped what, 3 tackles in the pocket to throw that long pass down field.

Re: Superbowl XLII (Reaction Thread)

1. Who's the better QB, Payton or Eli? Eli won the big one in a shorter time frame than Payton. And, I can't wait until the first commercial playing off of both of them being Superbowl MVP's

2. "They never remember who lost the Superbowl." This year they will!

3. The Pats had one hell of a good year. Some will marginalize it because they lost tonight.

4. The Giants played in London this year. The Saints will play in London next year. Go Saints!!!

Sorry, my friends all over this country who jumped on the bandwagon a couple years ago, are horrible. Stereotypes are rough, but there's a reason for them I'm sure there are good fans, but I'm also sure nearly every Pats fan is pissed about losing.
