I think Roger is burying him self deeper and deeper. He should just own up to it already.

IMO there is still much up in the air on both sides. I think McNamara is leaving stuff out too, but they both might end up getting screwed in the end. Keep in mind that there is little that can be done to either unless there is proof of perjury. It is definitely getting more interesting.

I'm not watching, but it's good to hear the government is sidetracked looking at a GAME.

That's less time they have to spend screwing the rest of us!

Roger looked really bad, imo. Especially from what Pettite told them. And he kept using the Chewbacca defense. They would ask him a question and he would go off topic and start talking about his charities and other stuff including his love for the country when he played on the national team. Give me a break.

First I will admit to a certain bias with regards to Mr. Clemens. Don't like him.

Having said that, I find it very hard to believe anything he has said, specially in light of Pettits testimony. One of them is obviously lying, and I don't think it's Pettit.

I dont get a good feeling about all the sports figures being tried over suspected steroid use. I dont know why but something just dosent seem right about it to me. Could these guys plead the 5th, no purgery there..

Very possible. But remember, this was not a trial. It was a hearing that Roger was adamant about having. It wouldn't have happened if he had not wanted it. He ruined what little repect he had with alot of folks, just like McGuire. He should have pleaded the 5th, he would have looked better. If he knew what Pettite said in his deposition I don't think he would have wanted the hearing. I also think his lawyers have given him some really bad advice and they are not helping him.
