Re: Moss stays with the Pats!
We have just received confirmation from the Patriots on their official web site, www.patriots.com that he did indeed sign with the Pats again, the front office did not release terms of the agreement except to say that it was for more than one year. It feels good to have him back.

Re: Moss stays with the Pats!
This is definintely good news. I was getting nervous when the rumors were swirling that he was trying to work a package deal to sign with Culpepper somwhere. I'm just happy to have him back... tarnish & all.

3 years at 9 million per year is what I heard.
Good thing he didn't come to the Bears, Grossman could have turned him into a mediocre receiver with ease! ![]()

Re: Moss stays with the Pats!
Without a doubt the most important free agent the pats needed to re-sign this year.
Asante Samuel = one of the most over rated CB's in the league. This guy lives and dies by the interception. So, he gives at least as many big plays as he gets interceptions. Randall Gay = a decent corner who is hurt a lot. What does it matter if he's on your team if he never gets on the field? Donte Stallworth = this guy is good but I think he's better as a #2 receiver. I say this because I didn't see him getting open easily last year. He breaks tackles like no WR I've ever seen and can turn a short catch into a long run. The Pats still have a lot of great WRs left and really didn't need him back. Roosevelt Colvin = it would be nice to get Colvin back. He stinks against the run but he is a very good pass rusher when he gets matched up against a TE or a RB. Put him against a lineman and he gets stonewalled. Even if the Patriots re-signed everyone from last year they really needed badly to get better in the secondary and at linebacker.
