Gentlemen, ladies, the draw has been made, rules are as follows:

Come up with your predictions send them to me via pm, word doc, .bmp file or give me a call...
- You must predict the winner of the round, and the aggregate score, example: Barcalona wins round over Shalke aggregate score 3-1. For each team you correctly pick to go through, you win 1 point, for correct aggregate score you get 2. This means, even if the team you pick to go through doesn't win, but you get the aggregate score right, you win 2 points. Guy with the most points wins.
- you must fill your bracket in completely all the way to the final. One bracket per gorilla. Brackets will be due no later than March 31 at Midnight CST. You don't have to fill out the bracket my way you can type it up in this format: Barca over Shalke 5-1, Man U over Roma 9-2, Man U over Barca 8-3, or anything else that makes sense, you may PM them to me or email them to me at Hooahtechcontrol@gmail.com.
- Commitment is 5 cigars. YOU are responsible for mailing them to the winner in a timely manner, i.e. unless you make a prior notification all winnings should be mailed out in a week. 2nd place gets 5 cigars from the winners stash of the 1st places choosing. The 1st place will have 1 week from reciept to mail out to 2nd place. Once you have committed your bracket and the first minute of the first match of the first leg has begun,you cannot pull out of the tournament, any dropouts after the matches have begun will be pistol whipped, with an airsoft replica of my Sprinfield 1911A1.

You get more points, 2, for getting wrong?

The way I'm reading that is I say "Liverpool over Arsenal aggregate 10-5" but Arsenal beats Liverpool by an aggregate of 10-5 I lose the one point for getting the winner wrong but I still get 2 points for getting the aggregate score correct, albeit backwards?

I was wondering that as well.
I would think that you can only get credit for the aggregate if your side goes through

yeah I guess the way I saw it was if you can predict the correct score, then you should get more points... hmmm maybe I'll have to consider that....sooo maybe something more along the lines of 2 points for correct team going through 1 point for correct score, backwards doesn't count?

I like the 2 extra points for a correct aggregate score, if you got it correct winner/loser-wise, but double points for backwards is just blind luck.

With the exception of Shalke and Fenerbahce anyone can win this so there is already a major element of luck invovled!

That said, it's your pool, what you say goes. I just wish you weren't gonna make me think so damn hard with the curveball variables

Points scoring: 1 point for the correct prediction of the team going through, and 2 points for picking the correct final aggregate.
example: your prediction is Barca over Shalke 3-1, The aggregate score must be 3-1 in favor of Barca to recieve the points. Apolgies for the confusion.

2-1 to 'pool. Not suprising final scoreline but Reading scored first, had them on the back foot. Kudos to Liverpool for breaking down a resolute and resurgent Reading side tho, not easy to do lately, they are full of fight right now. Liverpool's just got too much quality for the likes of them in the end. Even if Babel and Kuyt looked lost today. Reading's goal was an absolute screamer if you haven't seen it yet, do. It made Liverpool's defense look like school kids too, crossed in front of the entire team and no one stepped to it. I was hoping this game would help me decide on their UCL matchup but I think I'm even more confused I'll watch Arsenal's match tonight, hopefully enlightening
