Tonight's game promises to be the best game of the season - period. I really believe the two best teams are playing for the championship, and both are completely fired up and want it more than anything. Memphis is one of the few teams KU's seen this year that actually plays faster than them. The Rush/Douglas-Roberts and Chalmers/Rose matchups are going to be intense. If Memphis plays as well as they did on Saturday, I can't see them not winning. If Kansas plays as well as they did on Saturday, I can't see them not winning. If both teams come out to play (which I think will happen), we're in for a serious game.

KU hasn't won the title in 20 years - Is this the year?

Here's my key for KU tonight. Take the ball straight at Dorsey and Taggart. Memphis is very vulnerable/shallow down low if those two play poorly/get into foul trouble. KU can run 4 VERY good big men at them all game long in Jackson, Arthur, Aldrich, and Kaun. Obviously Memphis' guards are outstanding, but I have a feeling Russ Robinson/Mario Chalmers and Brandon Rush are going to play pretty good defense on Rose and Douglas-Roberts. After all, Robinson/Chalmers made Lawson look silly the other night, and Rose isn't THAT much better than Lawson... If KU can accomplish those things, they win. However, if we get into a running match, it's anyone's guess as both teams can run. If we let Rose and Douglas-Roberts into the lane all night, we lose. Either way, I'm stoked for the game tonight!

I havent done my homework on KU, but I did see them ealier this year, and in tourney and especially against UNC... man there tough. And deserve to play tonight.

On the otherhand I've seen all 39 games that Memphis has played this year, and man there tough to...

and also deserve to play tonight.

I've gone to school at memphis and lived here several years so any opinion I could give on the game would be obviously biased.

KU fans, you guys should be proud of your Jayhakws, I hope you guys have enjoyed the season as much as we have....

I cant wait for the game to start... so I can get this over, my nerves are going to be shot

Well, KU is doing exactly what they need to. They are playing Rose and Douglas-Roberts tough, and we are getting the ball inside. Dozier, Taggart, and Dorsey all have 2 fouls apiece, and they are having a hard time hanging with KU's big men. Now if we could just cut down on the turnovers, we'll be in great shape! BTW, here's a great picture!

Man, going into the box and 1 was really stupid. Our defense wasn't our problem, it's so much harder to rebound and transition out of a zone than it is out of man to man. Why we left our man defense is beyond me.
