Master's Week

Thought's, views, etc... on the Master's.

Tiger is the obvious favorite. Who else do you think will have a solid shot at the Green Jacket?

Re: Master's Week

At last, a golf thread. Other than Tiger I think the same old names will be be near the top; Phil, Goosen, Els, Vijay, Furyk etc but I really like the way Geoff Ogilvy is coming into the week and Padraig Harrington and Adam Scott would be decent bets. A nice long shot could be KJ Choi...he's had alot of success at Augusta. With all that said, I wouldn't bet against Tiger. You can have the field.

Re: Master's Week

I agree with your picks. Ogilvy is primed to win a major soon. He has a lot of talent. One of the great things about the majors is that it tests your nerves more. There is so much more emphasis, media, whatever... that demands that much more focus. Like you said, you wouldn't bet against Tiger. When he has his "A" game on his focus is stunning. Heck, even is "B" game is amazing!

Re: Master's Week

One of my favorite weeks! I can't wait to see the Par 3 Tourny. Bout time they aired it! I think somebody who nobody expects will win this year.

Great week for sure. The par 3 is great to watch! Any word on who will compete this year? Anyway, I have the DVR set. I'll be at work when the Par 3 starts.

So far, my prediction is spot-on. Sorry Tiger.

Re: Master's Week

Anybody watching this? The wheels may be coming off Trevor. They sure did with the Sned. Directv rocks. Like the early webcast you can watch Amen Corner, the broadcast or 15 & 16 or all at once!

Yeah, only two shots back. He's hanging in there after some early trouble.

The wind is blowing and the knees are shaking. It will be very interesting. I always hope for a playoff to drag it out a little longer.

Me too!

Ouch! Flesch in the drink at 12. He is virtually out of it now.

Re: Master's Week

Without a major blowup, looks like Trevor has made it through and will be the new Masters Champ.

Re: Master's Week

Tiger will be kicking himself after this....playing the par 5's even on Sunday?!?!?! Unreal. He couldn't make a putt all week. Congrats to Immelman, three stroke lead with 2 to play is tough to give up, especially when nobody's making a move. Cant wait for the US Open.

Re: Master's Week

Wish Tiger could have played better today. I think if he could have gotten a few birdies early and gotten some confidence built up, could have pulled this one out
