Thanks Charles

I tossed in the extra because it took me so long to get your winnings to you. consider it interest on our side deal. Eat something before smoking that LFD Chisel. The Padron maddies aren't too strong though.

Enjoy.

The field has definitely been narrowed. The Sharks loss knocked out a few hopeful contestants.

Gonna be Detroit/Pens with the Red Wings hoisting the Stanley Cup!! When the last goal is scored is all that's left to be decided. Bet the farm on it!

Not the news you want to hear the day before the series gets underway...

From nhl.com: "Flyers all-star defenseman Kimmo Timonen will be out of the lineup indefinitely with a blood clot in his left foot, club General Manager Paul Holmgren confirmed via a conference call on Thursday evening."

Hate to hear that. Always better when both teams are healthy.

Re: NHL Playoff Pool

Still lookin' like Wings and Pens to me with both up 2-0! Gonna be real tough for Dallas or Philly to win 4 of 5.

You are probably right. As some smart gorilla stated at the beginning...it will come down to who can stay healthy through the playoffs. Penguins seem to be outlasting their opponents in the East.

A healthy Red Wings team should be a great test for the Pens. No excuses in that series.

Still hoping that the final series goes to 7 games, with an overtime or two. None of this 4 and out garbage.

Always can hope, but seven game series seem to come at a premium. Not sure why but just don't see a lot of game sevens in the finals.

Re: NHL Playoff Pool

I just realized that 'Stormin' is covered down on two of the favs. Good planning on his part. I have to quit picking the underdogs and go with winners next year.

I understand. I need to go with who I believe can win and not my heart. I'm alright w/ my Red Wings as there a fav every year. But I definitly could have done a smarter pick in the east than the Rangers. But I just had to go with my boy Shanahan!
