I find Ashley to be very attractive, not so with Danica. I really don't know what it is that she has that gets everyone drooling over her.

Danica sexes it up and plays it for all it is worth. I agree that Ashley is much hotter. I wish Ashley would do some nice Bikini Spreads, but she says she wont.

I agree with Ashley. Start doing that 'Hot women of racing' crap and their credibility as a driver is damaged. Look what happened to Erin Crocker after Evernham got sick of her. She is lucky if she can get a substitute Arca seat now. The women in the NHRA do not need to do this to retain their credibility, both nitro classes are led by women at this time, Ashley and Melanie Troxell in top fuel. The looks are the only reson that Danica and Milka got their rides in Indy Car-their looks were supposed to attract fans. Just my

Last year she was a novelty. She had not won any races. Any team signing her know it would be a publicity stunt. Even her win, while it was not a bad one, if Tony Kannan had a couple of more liters of Fuel, would have been a second place. But if she picks up a couple more wins, then a move to Nascar may not appear to be as much of a stunt.

Personally, I do not think she is as talented as her team mates. She is just more marketable due to her A-Cups and indoor plumbing. This years crop of open wheelers is not setting NASCAR on fire. But they are all much more talented than Danica. From a racing standpoint, moving her to NASCAR would be a mistake for a team. But from a marketing standpoint, for the right team, it probably would not be a bad one.

Part of winning any race is fuel strategy. She's not the first one to win because of it and she has lost in the past because of it. When any of the men driver win because of fuel strategy then it's a great win based on strategy. It's the same for her. This time her team came through and she won. Racing is just as much a team sport as it is an individual sports.

Is she the most talented driver on the track? No. but I think your comment about ALL ARE MUCH MORE TALENTED THAN DANICA is more about your personal feelings about women in racing than reality. If you look at all the other drivers, I'm sure you will find quite a few who are driving who have never won a race or just lucky because they crossed the checkered line first.

, I said it was a good win. I watched the race live last weekend. Any win is a good win. She had a good car near the end of the race, passed a few cars and put her self in position to win and needed a little luck, like no caution in the closing laps, to complete the win. It was not a race where she drives away from the field and leads the most lap.

And lets not forget, it was a split field with a lot of the drivers racing in Long Beach instead of Japan. It was raced against a weakened field and with several non series regulars.

Is she the most talented driver on the track? No. but I think your wcomment about ALL ARE MUCH MORE TALENTED THAN DANICA is more about your personal feelings about women in racing than reality.

Danica finished behind Hornish and Franchitti who both moved to NASCAR, in the in the points. AJ Allmendinger who is struggling in NASCAR in his second year, raced against her in the Barber and Atlantic Series and won both of those championships. Her team mates Franchitti and Kannan won a total of 9 races last year and finished 1st and 3rd in the points in the same car. It is a simple fact that these drivers are considerably more talented than her and not a sexist statement or my personal feelings.

There is no doubt she is a talented driver. She outperformed her team mate Marco Andretti last year. He is regarded as one of the best young talents in open wheel racing and has tested for F1 teams. But if her name were Daniel Patrick, judging from her performance in the Barber and Atlantic series(where she never won a race), she may never have reached IRL.

If you look at all the other drivers, I'm sure you will find quite a few who are driving who have never won a race or just lucky because they crossed the checkered line first.

And if you look at the IRL roster, you will find several better credentialed drivers on lesser teams with little hope of winning a race. Put them on Andretti Green, and they could be championship contenders and multi race winners. Her gender first put her in the IRL and and then put her on the top team in her series. She has made the most of her opportunities and is still developing.

And just so you know, my personal opinion on Danica and females in Open Wheel Racing are they are the best thing going for it at this moment. They are not a side show. Danica's win will mean increased visibility, ratings & attendance and down the road, bigger purses. And maybe that will stop the hemorrhaging of the top talent to NASCAR and F1. I would like to see open wheel racing make a comeback. Right now she is an important driver in the series, though far from the most talented.
