He would fit in better there. AAA just has that high flyer feel to it.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

Going to the GAB was quite fun. Michaels and Jericho were Michaels and Jericho, and Punk vs. Batista was good until the BS finish.

Watched it last night. The Cena/JBL match looked completely coreographed and unbeleivable.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

It was shot on the Saturday night (a la Taker/Mankind Boiler Room Brawl) - just the finish was in front of the crowd.

Was hoping Regal would return. His reign was great.

Yeah, it looks like JBL is preaching the truth when he says that Punk will be merely a transitional champ. They won't give him a chance to shine.

Glad D-lo is back though.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

Punk will win, of course.

Typical WWE philosophy - if something seems too clear cut, it usually is.

On a lighter note - Death Before Dishonor at the Hammerstein Ballroom Saturday night!

I get to see the two best tag teams in North America face off - Motor City Machine Guns vs. Kevin Steen and El Generico! This is going to be very, very good.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

The show was PHENOMENAL.

And in the sleeper match of the night, Brent Albright (formerly Gunner Scott) defeated Adam Pearce to become the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion.

This was an incredibly exciting, old NWA-style match which caught the crowd off-guard and, in my opinion, stole the show.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

Just watched Summerslam. Not too bad. HIAC was great, until Undertaker came back and through Edge through the ring. Stupid!

Shawn Michaels is gonna kill Jericho for hitting is wife (she is still hot btw).

Watching replay of TNA Hard Justice while posting. Decent event for TNA.

Just to inform all: Killer Kowalski passed away Aug. 30 at the age of 81. He was one of wrestling's greats and will be missed.
