Re: Pro Wrestling Thread
The state of 'rasslin is really bad these days, imo. The writing has gotten really, really bad. I have all but stopped watching. I like to see Santino cause he makes me laugh and I am enjoying watching the old AWA stuff that runs midnights on ESPN Classic.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread
I agree that wrestling today has gone downhill, but it's not the worst of all time. As they say in the business, wrestling comes in cycles. It'll make a big comeback eventually. I do like Santino, and wish his INtercontinental championship ru had lasted longer. Over the years, the Intercontintental Champ has been the one to carry the WWE/WWF. Shawn Michaels, Austin, The Rock, and others were all at there best (IMHO) when they held the IC strap. Anyone remember Stone Cold trhowing the IC belt in the river in Detroit (on multiple occasions)? That was some good tv!

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread
For the Jim Cornette fans out there, here is one of his great out of character moments:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id4rZhN_LEg Cornette is one of the most colorful people in the industry. A true wrestling historian too. |
