Given who his father in law is, I think he can do just about anything he wants to.

He can put on some good matches. His mic skills can leave something to be desired though.

Gee if say Rhino were to do something like this they would fire him, oh wait they did......imo Orton should have been fired a long time ago and they will probably sweep another of his incidents under the rug.

The wrestling world is all about two things: Marketability and family. Orton is both a third generation star and marketable. Nothing against Rhyno and others without famous families.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

What's up with Michael PS Hayes and all the racist remarks? I love the guy both in the 80s and his writing ability on Smackdown. You can definitely tell he is suspended with the quality of story on Friday nights. Hope he can get his act together and not get suspended or fired over any more remarks.

Nothing beat Mid-South Championship wrestling...WCW before there was a WCW... I Remember ECW from Day one! I dont watch it as much as I used to but every now and then I'll tune in and check things out.

You are in the old ECW's home territory. I miss alot of the Extremists myself.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

I seem to go in streaks with wrestling. Started watching when I was a kid when the Von Erichs were my favorites along with Gentleman Chris Adams and Ted Dibiase (sp?). Lost track of it when we moved back to Europe but got back into it a couple of years after we got back. My favorites then became DDP, Ultimate Warrior and Randy Macho Man Savage. Lost track once again and came back to it when my all time favorite appeared...The Rock!

Talk about a guy that knew how to work a crowd. Could you imagine the pop he would get if he showed back up one day (that will never happen though). He had without a doubt the best mic work I have ever seen. The only one that really comes close would either be Mick Foley or Chris Jericho.

Rock and Sock Connection baby!!!

Foley and Jericho are good on the mike, but they do not even hold up to Flair, Superstar Billy Graham, Arn Anderson, Dusty Rhodes, Macho Man, and Jake the Snake Roberts. These are true great works of art on the mic.

Orton's new theme music sucks! Miss that old version. Same for Jeff Hardy (good to see him back)!

Hardy has two strikes now. One more and he is out. He needs to keep his nose clean.

Watched TNA Sacrifice this past Sun (The 1st ppv I've ordered in several years).
Sucks Angle was too hurt to wrestle, The women as usual kicked ass. Roxxi getting her head shaved was brutal.

Me too, and that's King Regal. I have always been a "mark" for him and his rasslin ability. The angle is perfect for him and it has increased my interest in the show.

He is doing a good job. He had some pretty good matches during the KOTR tourney. I think he is a better GM than Coachman was.

I like Coachman in the WWE, but his time as GM was horrible. Long live the KING!!
