Sucks Angle was too hurt to wrestle, The women as usual kicked ass. Roxxi getting her head shaved was brutal.
How was that X Division Chamber match (whatever they called it, I forgot)? It looked interesting.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

ROH's debut at the Hammerstein Ballroom was fantastic.

Next month, 6/6 they return to the Hartford Expo Center for a Tag Title tournament, which I'll definitely be going to after a stop at the nearby B&M.

And Yes! Great American Bash tickets are in the mail!

I keep hearing good things about ROH. Can't see anything on them (PPV only and I'm not forking out cash for it right now).

Congrats on the GAB tix. Well spent (hopefully).

Stacy Hancock! Yummy!!
WCW was the best on t.v.
I can't stand WWF/WWE anymore and TNA reminds me a lot of the WCW.

I miss Bret (THE HITMAN) Heart. best wrestler ever.

No one has anything on Ric Flair (the best) unless you go back to the true olden days of Lou Thesz. These were the best wrestlers ever.

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

Michaels all the way, for me at least.

In Hart's autobiography he brings up some good points about Flair - calling his wrestling "non-stop nonpsychology" which makes sense on several levels. Hart matches may not have been as entertaining as Flair matches, but they certainly were better put together.

For me, Shawn Michaels can combine both of these and take things into a whole other level.

If you are going to look old school, there is only one:

I would take him over Flair any day. He is not a 15 time championship loser. He held the WWWF two reigns, 7 1/2 years and 3 1/2 years. He was the biggest draw back in the day.

Thesz would KILL him! (Not arguing Bruno's ability. He was good too, but was more of a brute strength guy than a grappler/wrestler.)

Nice pic by the way

Re: Pro Wrestling Thread

I don't remember when I saw it.

Here is the info from TNA site.
Booker T

Height: 6'3" | Weight: 253 pounds
Hometown: Houston, Texas
Finishing Moves: The Axe Kick

One of the most celebrated and accomplished superstars in wrestling history, Booker T made his surprise debut for TNA Wrestling at the 2007 "Genesis" Pay-Per-View event, joining Sting against Kevin Nash and Kurt Angle. Joined by the lovely Sharmell, Booker T made headlines by coming to TNA to start a new chapter in his epic career. Certainly, Booker's goal is to capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but he'll have to go through the likes of Christian Cage, Samoa Joe and Kurt Angle to get it! To get Booker T merchandise, visit ShopTNA.com or talk TNA with fans around the world at our Xtreme Regime Community!

Booker started with TNA about 3-4 months ago. Here is a little more info on Booker.

(real name: Booker Tio Huffman) was arrested in 1987 after committing several armed robberies of Wendy's restaurants in Houston (at the time, Booker flipped burgers for the chain). Booker subsequently pleaded guilty and served 19 months in prison. He wasn't the smartest criminal. He robbed one Wendy's with his Wendy's uniform on.
