College Football National Champ?

I was wondering who people thought might end up as the National Champ. I am still hoping Miami can get into the Rose Bowl to play for the Championship. It is gonna be tough tho with one loss unless USC or Texas lose. Who do you think will win the National Championship?

With the rest of the Schedule that UT has they will need to show up drunk, stupid and high to lose a game this year. Man I hate game days in Austin, traffic sucks.

I am still hoping beyond hope that Alabama can play for the Championship. However, I think Texas is too good.

I certainly would love to see "Bama" in the NT game,but it will be Texas and USC. I really think Texas will win it though>>

I think USC still has a slight chance (check that...microscopic chance) they might lose to UCLA. I seriously doubt UCLA's defense is up to the task of defending USC. I see USC having about a 97% chance of playing for the title...again. Texas won't be defeated unless Vince Young goes down with an injury and even then I doubt any of the teams they have left on their schedule can deal with Texas' overwhelming defense. Texas has about a 99.5% chance of playing for the title.
Alabama still has two hard games left to play. I think playing LSU at home is going to be tough but being at home, the noise factor I think is going to ultimately take its toll on the Tigers and Bama will pull it out. I don't think LSU has played a defense with the talent that Alabama's defense has either. The big question is whether Bama can get their offense running again. Regardless of that, it's going to be a tough game for both teams. The Iron bowl isn't going to be easy either, Tuberville has a lot of tricks up his sleeve down there in the plains and that young RB Kenny Irons makes me worry. Howver, I think that if Auburn beleives they are going to establish a passing game against Bama's secondary, they're dreaming. But I think Bama's due for a Iron Bowl victory and we'll probably get it. Bama has about a less than 50% chance of playing for the title.
Miami WILL NOT play for the title. They are going to play Bama in the Sugar Bowl. Either that or they are going to play Virginia Tech again depending on what Bama does.

I think it will be Texas. They are a better balanced team than USC. USC has a heck of an offense, but I think a team that can control the ball and stop them a few times can take them. Should be better than a few Superbowls I remember, anyway.

It's unfortunate that A&M has lost three in a row because now UT is going to have to get beat out of an undefeated season.

Well as it looks now as the fourth quarter starts between USC and UCLA it's gonna be Texas(that's UT)and USC... and we 'll take em...then Funky and colgate we'll have to see what you say then
