Minor League Basball

[SIZE=2]I took my 8 year old son to a minor league baseball game on the 4th , we had a really good time ,he got to go on the field after the game and get the foul ball he caught autographed by the players.I was just wonder about other people experiences with Minor league ball. I give it an a+[/SIZE]

Pretty fun, we like to go watch the hooks here. our boy gets to run the bases afterwards so he has a blast too.

When the boy was younger, and we were on the other side of the beltway, we used to go see the Bowie Baysox. Since we are less than 5 miles from the Washington Nationals farm league team (Potomac Nationals), we go several times a year. I'd MUCH prefer small ball to the MLB!

I usually catch a game or two of the Myrtle Beach Pelicans when I go down there on vacation every august. They are quite a bit of fun, and i've seen a number of those guys make it to the majors! I've got an Adam LaRoche signed pelicans jersey in my closet somewhere

I've been a fan of the Richmond Braves(AAA) since I moved to this part of the state about 10 years ago. Sadly, this is their last year in Richmond.

We've gone to see the Portland Sea Dogs a couple of times while on vacation in Maine, nice park, great baseball and lots of fun. With the prices at Fenway it's a cheap way of seeing the future major leaguers.

LOVE minor league ball. You get to see some of the greats, before they are greats.

My family doesn't really like baseball, but we will go to the W-S Warthogs games for fireworks. Got my picture taken with Wilbur the Warthog, too -- fun for all ages.
