Best running back ever...aka I miss football

I am really missing football and can't wait for it to start. Messing around on youtube I came across this video. I am not a Lions fan but where Barry Sanders was concerned there is no need to be a Lions fan...this guy was simply incredible. Some may argue Payton, Sayers, Brown or Smith but my money is dead on Sanders. He made more out of nothing and could have easily had the all time record if he hadn't retired.

Born and Raised in Wichita and actually got to play one afternoon against him when I was young..nothing like 10-12 10yr old boys trying to tackle a guy with tree trunks for legs...didnt know who he was till my dad came and picked me up...never seen him with out pads...one of my fondest memories!!!

I think he just got frustrated with the lions not doing anything to help him out. They realized Barry was enough to sell tickets so why spend any money on making the team any better. Could you imagine his stat totals with the O line that Smith had in Dallas?

Walter Payton....could run, block, pass, catch, the whole package. He would hit the guys tackling him harder than they hit him, then he would help them up.

No argument about Sanders being an awesome back, just would pick Sweetness first for my team.

I remember hearing about that on TV. before he would get tackled he would "pop" the tackler. Something these new backs lack.

O.J. was good, but best ever? Which leads me to an innocent question, does this board dabble in fantasy football? ( don't ask how I got there...) There seem to be more than enough people, I'm curious if you guys run a league. I would imagine there could be a stick or two on the line around here.
